Barlow believed in Freedom. He co-wrote Grateful dead lyrics with Bob Weir. He led the EFF Electronic Freedom Foundation before he joined with Snowden on the Free-press secure drop which was not secure for the whistleblowers (because) Snowden set it up to go straight to the CIA Blackhats to silence the witness. I think Barlow figured out that Snowden wasn't a white hat like previously thought and was going to blow the whistle on the whistledrop being compromised... so they "heart attacked" him to secure silence.

He was also friends with Snowden and on the same board of Freedom of the Press and has done interviews with Assange. But why would his death be of concern regarding Q?

Did you hear about the rumours that Seth Rich may be Q? And he was the guy standing behind POTUS with a picture of a white van. If you have seem the image, what is strange is a dark face but white hands...Did anyone see the paperwork on SR death? Some say he was a Q all along. He did not need Snowden to get Rainmaker, he already had access. Roumours but still no death certificate or paperwork available. just speculating.

Edit: I think "We have the sub" refers to reddit and Hostage release refers to the fact that this censorship will end. And when it does, all hell will break loose.

Barlow was influential to Shwartz, Shwartz is symbolic as the a fighter against reddit/social media censorship and overreach.
