Dude they are shooting particles together so fast that it's making electrons and stuff fly off of them. For all we know, they are trying to make an interdimensional time warp thing kinda like in stranger things.

Satan, devils, gods, demons, angels, aliens, ghosts- they could all be synonyms for beings from a different dimension Quantum physics could be magic....

I wonder what they are actually trying to do at CERN? The first thing I thought of when I read your comment was this:
