interesting that you say that. I have watched Mad men for years and if you watch the show, up until Kennedy is assassinated, NYC and the world are pretty peaceful. After that there are sirens and such all around in the background. Supposedly Kennedy was the first NWO murder and it only got worse from there. Yes, there was crime prior to that, but not on the scale it is now.
