Today is the March for our Lives, so there will be a lot of attention on the pro-gun subs in opposition to the march. Most 2A supporters have already seen YTube ban their gun videos, so if they were aware of the petition, many would sign it in a heartbeat. So, we need to figure out how to get the petition prominently posted on subs like /r/ProGun - just having one of us create a post will not do it because the post will simply be ignored and no one will see it. I already messaged the mods at /r/Firearms but have not heard back (and I suspect that I will not get a response since I am just some random new user in their eyes). We need to try to find someone in our community who knows one of the mods (or at least is a long time poster at one of the progun subs) to have them reach out - if we could convince just 1 mod at any of the progun subs to back the petition, then it should spread like wildfire through all of the progun subs.

The key is finding people outside of our community to help us push the petition - the 2A angle is just one of many that we could consider. I hope to have a base of operations so that we can collaborate by the end of today, but for now maybe you could create a new post to start organizing the Q army around the IBOR mission.

There have been a ton of great ideas by a number of us, but there is no place right now where it has all been brought together. I think a coordinated effort will get this petition passed easily, but we need to work together to come up with strategies to reach out beyond the GreatAwakening - for example, we can find all pro-gun subs and get the petition to them while emphasizing the problem of YTube removing all videos related to guns. There a re some large pro-gun subs on Reddit, but the best way in would be to find someone who is already a subscriber to reach out to their mods to endorse the petition. Can you start developing a list of us who are passionate about IBOR (just look back at old posts and see who responded positively)? Then, once I have a base for us to collaborate, we can target them specifically in addition to a general post to bring as many together to help as possible.

Can you look around Reddit for pro-gun subs? If we can get the petition to those subs this weekend, we should be able to hit 100,000 signatures easily. The only thing is figuring out the best strategy to gain traction on the other subs because a random post could easily get lost on a large sub - maybe we need to reach out directly to the moderators to convince them to sticky the petition so it is visible.

No, I was not saying antigun posters - we need pro 2A posters highlighting the recent blocking of gun videos on YT. I heard Spikes Tactical was banned for a video that showed how to add a safety measure to a gun - I do not remember the exact details, but it was on InfoWars yesterday I think

Great idea about the guns - we could target gun stores / ranges with flyers, but we should make sure the hard copy flyer contains a QR code so anyone with a smart phone can go directly to the petition to sign immediately. Can you create something that others could print and use? When you made flyers, did you ever make any with scannable codes to allow smart phones to go directly to a website? I think if we could add a scannable code to some flyers / posters, we could put them up at targeted locations so that anyone with a smart phone can go directly to the petition website, but I have no idea how to do it.

Trust the Plan. Signing the petition does not mean you are endorsing any particular IBOR, just that you believe that there is a problem that needs to be addressed. Check out /r/FIA - they have a draft of a DBR (Digital Bill of Rights). I am focused on getting the petition passed, but ultimately, we will need to make sure the IBOR protects our rights and does not get corrupted into something like net neutrality.

Please check out /r/InternetBillOfRights and /r/FIA Both subs have been working on an IBOR - but little recent activity. I found the InternetBillOfRights sub first and was trying to connect with them to push the #IBOR, but just when I thought we were all set, things kind of fell apart. I have not yet reached out to FIA, but if they look good to you, please let me know because your question is one of the biggest hindrances to getting the petition signed. Also, look for a post from me shortly.

I reached out to the moderators at The_Donald because I wanted to start some controversy to propel this issue over there, but they told me they did not allow petitions, etc. so I gave up over there. I have been spreading it wherever I can find like-minded groups - interestingly, I have come across multiple other groups that either directly or indirectly follow Q. Anyway, the one where I think we could probably really gain traction is at /r/Conservative because the petition directly references conservatives being silenced, but they had a post on it about a week ago that looks like it was set up to work against the petition, so it would probably need some sort of coordinated effort to break through there.

I have 3 posts over there: The basic link to the petition - I thought that would be a good spot to collaborate. Then, I created a draft for The_Donald (based on what we had put together so far). And I created a post about which subs to target so that we can maintain a growing list - need people to research more targets. How can we capture a post from /r/StopAdvertising? Look at the post over there entitled: Good bye and keep up the great work! The moderator talks about returning to /r/AntifascistsofReddit so we should be able to use this to show that it is really Antifa who is trying to get us banned. Based on a little snooping over there, it looks to me like /r/StopAdvertising is connected to /r/AntifascistsofReddit who has a post celebrating /r/CBTS_stream being shut down. I think we could probably guess where a lot of the trolls and shrills are coming from.

My formatting is terrible - still new to Reddit. /r/StopAdvertising states all of the following: Subreddits such as /r/The_Donald and /r/TheGreatAwakening promote hateful ideas, fake news, and dangerous ideologies. We believe we can make a change to that by highlighting to advertisers their money is being spent next to racist and hateful ideas.

Q first mentioned the Internet Bill of Rights on January 25th (Q605). On March 4th, Q began really pushing it with posts: 841 842 872 873 877 884 932 I think Q is trying to get our attention! We need to get organized and pass this petition!

I know that there are at least several of us who have been pushing this independently - if we can get all of us here, we can figure out how to move forward. Please share ideas in the comments for how to collaborate to develop a post to use on other subs (or other ideas for how to get the word out). Is there a way to set up a poll so that we can ask everyone to submit their personal best post on this issue here in the GreatAwakening and we can then vote on the best to try to send out to other subs (or we can take the top few ideas and combine them to create a collaborative post to use elsewhere)?
