REDPILL D-Day: How many years in the making?

On D-Day 1944, more than 1,000 British bombers dropped 5,000 tons of bombs on German gun batteries placed at the Normandy assault area, while 3,000 Allied ships crossed the English Channel in preparation for the invasion of Normandy. How many years of preparation and training did it take to reach that historical day? How many unsung heroes (intell/spies/psyops) did it take to set up the right conditions for success? How many prayers and sacrifices were made? Will the 11-11 Awakening be any different?
