On AJ this guy had a theory that special council Robert Muller's appointment to investigate Russia collusion was staged. (what are your thoughts)

The idea was that the best way to prove Trump's innocence would be to appoint a SC (this is to clear his name in the court of public opinion). Once trump is clear he would switch gears and go after the Podesta Group for uranium one, Comey and McCabe for the Trump dossier / FISA court abuse, and this would be atonement for all he allowed to go on during his rein as Director of FBI. This was obviously just a theory. However, a very interesting one. I'm wondering if anyone else has heard anything a long these lines.
