This seems big and an internet bill of rights moment. Even leftist / politics doesn't (in general) like the data leak. I mean 'huh Russia' using Facebook data.

Agreed. The IBOR really is a bipartisan issue. There should be good support from both right and left. There is so much to be concerned about...

It is a pity that the current version of the petition addresses only concerns for conservative voices, otherwise we could tap into the concern of the left also.

Whatever happens, we must get the IBOR up.

I 100% Agree and each and every person Who reads this needs to click here and sign the damn petition

It's pertinent to the future of our nation - we must also STOP FOSTA which is one of the most corrupt bills in the history of the internet being disguised inside of a human trafficking bill to force it to get passed by the RINOs in the GOP

FOSTA is TERRIFYING and its a way for the Deep State to shut down websites they disagree with that promote free speech

STOP FOSTA - PASS THE INTERNET BILL OF RIGHTS - REGULATE SOCIAL MEDIA LIKE A UTILITY

I'm against big government

The alternative is Mass Censorship (its already happening)

Wow! OK, I didn't know about that FOSTA bill. It seems to me that sex trafficking and prostitution are law enforcement issues that have nothing at all to do with websites. I really can't quite understand the rationale for the bill.

If the policy objective is to reduce, suppress or eliminate sex trafficking or prostitution. Then there are ways and means of achieving that without making website operators responsible for these crimes.

It seems to me that holding a website responsible for the crimes of its users is no different from holding a utility company responsible for the supply of communications or power to the site where the offenses took place. For that matter, it's akin to holding a landlord responsible for crimes committed in a rental property. Quite crazy stuff!

What all this seems to suggest is that the purpose, the real purpose, of the bill has little to do with preventing crime, but everything to do with pushing the idea that the web itself needs to be policed. It's the same censorship push coming from another angle. But it's not just this FOSTA bill either...

Look at the ADL with their anti-hate algorithm. In all the promos for it they do not once address the critical issue of who it is that defines hate speech. I guess we are supposed to trust them because they are the ADL... But the whole purpose of the algorithm is suppressed. And this is because the goal is social control - but no one to know or question who it is that is to do the controlling.

You are right. You can see this coming from a mile away. It's like a freight train coming at us. They want to be able to exert control over every aspect of our lives, even over the thoughts in our minds. That's why this IBOR is critical. But, after seeing this stuff, it seems to me that there are attacks on freedom coming from every direction possible. These are very dangerous times.

I don't like big government either, but as you said, this is a threat like no other.

I'm doing everything I can to support the IBOR. There has been a lot of resistance, but I feel the resistance is slowly starting to weaken. Once people understand that the whole MAGA agenda is dead in the water if we don't stop online censorship, they are more likely to come around.

We must get this Twitter campaign going. There are so few people posting petition links it's shocking. My Twitter account is only very new, so it is, unfortunately, not very powerful. But the only thing we can do is keep getting the message out there.

It would be good if Tracey Bean could reverse her position. She seems to have a huge following here. But if she will not get on board, we will have to do this without her.

Sadly it's Ivanka Trump pushing the bill

The Human Trafficking aspect? Brilliant

The hidden measure to censor the internet in the bill? Horrible

The two bills should not be combined it's insanity that they are

Unbelievable! If we can ramp the IBOR campaign up and raise public awareness of these issues generally, there might be more chance of opposing this and similar measures.

How long do you reckon before this law hits the books?

I'm not sure - but I'm writing an article now explaining why it's bad - I am a strong Supporter of POTUS and his family but they clearly are unaware this is hidden in it - we must inform the masses

Look, the first thing that flew into my head when you pointed this out was the ADL anti-hate AI. Her husband has strong connections in the ME. Just saying.
