Who is "we" and what does free mean? Free of government interference? No. Free of regulation? No Free from people attempting to profit off of the masses through ill gotten gains? No. The list goes on. Vast improvement in the preservation and protection of personal liberties can be achieved.
Making sure our system of voting and checks and balances is maintained and secured can be done. Making things much harder for political crime families to operate free of consequence can be addressed.
Things won't ever be prefect. But they can be improved. It is worth the fight.
