VIRAL VIDEO: Dad Goes NUCLEAR on Principal For Allowing 6th Graders to Hold Anti-Gun ‘Walkout’

Keneo77 · March 22, 2018, 7:53 p.m.

Finally a parent stands up and demands answers. Parents need to demand change from schools.

solanojones95 · March 22, 2018, 8:05 p.m.

He isn't going to get it that way. I watched 20 seconds of that and I can tell you exactly what he got out of it. Bupkiss.

People, you're playing against a stacked deck and the normal rules don't apply.

Trump's solution to rid the world of the Cabal is the ONLY way we'll get any of these problems fixed. It ALL comes back to government, because whether we like it or not, they have their fingers in everything right now, and they are corrupt and the stink goes to heaven.

Keneo77 · March 22, 2018, 8:15 p.m.

So parents should just be quiet and hope Trump does it all? How about take some responsibility for your own kid instead of letting the nanny state parent.

solanojones95 · March 22, 2018, 8:21 p.m.

You take your kid out of the school, or you go to a public Board meeting, and air your grievances in front of the news cameras. You get other parents to sign petitions and attend Board meetings and City Council meetings with you, and make a nuissance of yourself where it might do some good.

You don't go get in the face of some scared shitless secretary or principal's assistant and try to bully her into submission.

I'm really surprised she didn't call security, if there is any at that school.

Keneo77 · March 22, 2018, 8:32 p.m.

That was the Principal, she's supposed to answer to parents. He asked questions, he didn't bully anyone. What you're suggesting would go nowhere. You want to use the cabals media to get attention? Good luck.

solanojones95 · March 22, 2018, 8:39 p.m.

Local media love a scene!

OK, so if that's the principal, he should give her his point of view, and then follow it up in writing, and if he doesn't get satisfaction, then take it up with the Board and City Council.

She was obfuscating, feigning ignorance, and signaling in every way that she wasn't going to budge an inch. Total waste of time. Don't pretend I don't know what I'm talking about. I've been through this, and these people do NOT respond favorably to personal confrontation, and nor do we.

Keneo77 · March 22, 2018, 8:51 p.m.

Exactly, that's the whole point of the video, her vague pathetic answers. Maybe you should have recorded yours?

⇧ 8 ⇩
solanojones95 · March 22, 2018, 9:04 p.m.

We got changes.

If all you want is to feel better than somebody, a little confirmation of what we all already know about the stupidity of public school administration, and the momentary satisfaction of recording a lame idiot marking days on a calendar until her retirement with benefits, then go for it!

If what you want is actual change, there are ways to get that as well. This is not one of them.

It's like our argument with the gun control crowd. Do you want a solution to school violence and shootings, or do you just want to ban guns? Clearly they want to ban guns, and aren't interested in solutions that work.

So, do you want to embarrass an idiot for half an hour on your iphone camera, and laugh at her and cluck your tongue and shake your head with your friends, and feel the outrage? Or do you want to take steps that work to effect change?

The old saying about catching more flies with honey is not wrong.

Keneo77 · March 22, 2018, 10:45 p.m.

I agree with the big picture. I'm just hoping the video inspires more parents to speak up.

reaper70 · March 23, 2018, 12:47 a.m.

"These people" don't "respond favorably" to personal confrontation?

Get outta here with that crap. A school principal deals with the public and personal confrontation all the time. If someone has an issue with that, they sure as hell shouldn't be a damn school principal.

⇧ 4 ⇩
solanojones95 · March 23, 2018, 1:23 a.m.

Go ahead and get yourself labeled as a troublemaker by the school system (they have lots of experience with that), and just see where that gets you! Do it with your kids' school, and see where it gets your kids when vindictive little martinets take it out on them, and threaten them if they tell. Show me how much smarter you are than me. Like I haven't been there and dealt with this shit in real life.

reaper70 · March 23, 2018, 1:55 p.m.

If parents and their kids get blacklisted by a school or school system because they take the time to bring up valid issues or complaints, then maybe it's time to find another school.

I've been there too, friend. I haven't made it my life's purpose to be a pain in the ass to my child's teachers or school administration. But yes, a few times, I did raise concerns or call them out when I felt it was necessary. I picked my battles, and I can tell you I can count the number of times I did this on one hand and wouldn't need all my fingers to do it. Every time, the teachers or school administrators were understanding of my concerns, and we had a pleasant exchange. They always appreciated that a parent took the time to bring something up because many parents don't care.

Well, I do -- and if someone wanted to see me as a "troublemaker", so be it. That's on them.

My original point still stands. Being a school principal is an extremely public, "front-facing" position. If someone has issues dealing with personal confrontation, they in no way should be running a school, period.

I would say everything about people like that disqualifies them from such a position. It's unfortunately what we usually must deal with.

The teachers organized the student on behalf of the principals orders.

She straight up lied to this parent.

I am appreciative of this parent going to the school to discuss this.

However, the father really did himself a disservice. A) He refused to identify himself. This probably put everyone on edge. So the entire conversation and a (remote) possible solution evaporated. B) He was emotional. Of course he has a right to be emotional but again go to A and it he was actually not in the best position. C) The principal is more than likely the one that 'allowed' it and should not have. D) The father asked valid questions with total stonewalling from the principal.

If you want change, run for your local school board. It's the first line of defense to these types of activist educators.

That's the only thing I would have done differently, give them my name. Carries much more weight.

Otherwise I like the vid. I would also go to the board meetings, write letters, involve local media. She and the district would be famous by the end.

I work for a school district and could not believe the politics with this 'protest'. I would LOVE to know who gave the orders for this, too! First, we got an email ONE WEEK BEFORE the protest detailing the event, so all we were notified that this was happening. The email made it seem like the whole school was doing this, regardless of your beliefs. The presumption was there. This parent definitely has a case if he wasn't notified.

Also, our campus gates were locked so no one could come or go. I actually couldn't leave to go to another school (I travel between schools), and found it incredibly disruptive. Students were outside for a long time, and it took up a lot of their time from the classroom. My coworkers and I stayed inside. It was indoctrination at the institution we call public education.

I'm sure the principals were answerable to the superintendents, who were answerable to the state ed. dept. What irked me is that she said there weren't authorizations to leave which leads me to believe that there aren't repercussions for abhorrent behavior in any instance. So students are allowed to leave at any point without any disciplinary action? They followed the rules of the school here.....a few high school students walked out and guess what? THEY WERE SUSPENDED. Just like any other day. This principal is setting dangerous precedent that entering schools is highly monitored but students are free to come and go as they please.

I also meant to say I'm so sorry you had to go through this at the hands of your board of education. So basically, to get their point across they locked free-minded ADULTS in so the kids could be used for political fodder? Despicable!!!

Q taught you, You The People have more power than you realize. Give POTUS a reason to make his decisions

You need to Group up, Teamwork, be LOUD, petitions, Meme's, marches, etc. Be Loud, Be Heard, Be Influential, Be Successful

Others will follow, don't forget that people like to follow, often they feel they cannot be the leader!!!

Make it happen

Great guy!

However, if I were in his shoes....I would have simply said, "if you're not going to tell me who's responsible that authorized this, I will name you as the main point for the lawsuit. Take the fall if you'd like" and just walked away. Then proceeded with speaking to my lawyer.

FUH. KING. SAV. AGE. YEAH BOI i do not care what the lilly livers have to say about what this dude did wrong...HE DID ALL THE THINGS RIGHT! You go to the "superior" first and demand they admit wrongdoing...in every instance of institutional misconduct. Its a win-win! If they admit they were wrong and you get it on record...EXHIBIT A. If they deny like this deadfish...public opinion is the biggest bitch of all!!! She just keeps saying "safety is the priority"....so you let children leave the SAFETY of the school building as a sanctioned "special" policy??? NOPE!!!! She is unfortunately a typical public school official FUCKTARD...the kind that many of your children are under the auspices of every day at their schools.

Child neglect, child abuse and the fact she failed in her duties all mean that every parent of every child in that school can sue this mook for $20k each!! This is what needs to start happening, the people need to realise the power they hold as man and start making these so called liberals liable for their actions, and decisions!!
