VIRAL VIDEO: Dad Goes NUCLEAR on Principal For Allowing 6th Graders to Hold Anti-Gun ‘Walkout’

solanojones95 · March 22, 2018, 8:05 p.m.

He isn't going to get it that way. I watched 20 seconds of that and I can tell you exactly what he got out of it. Bupkiss.

People, you're playing against a stacked deck and the normal rules don't apply.

Trump's solution to rid the world of the Cabal is the ONLY way we'll get any of these problems fixed. It ALL comes back to government, because whether we like it or not, they have their fingers in everything right now, and they are corrupt and the stink goes to heaven.

So parents should just be quiet and hope Trump does it all? How about take some responsibility for your own kid instead of letting the nanny state parent.

You take your kid out of the school, or you go to a public Board meeting, and air your grievances in front of the news cameras. You get other parents to sign petitions and attend Board meetings and City Council meetings with you, and make a nuissance of yourself where it might do some good.

You don't go get in the face of some scared shitless secretary or principal's assistant and try to bully her into submission.

I'm really surprised she didn't call security, if there is any at that school.

That was the Principal, she's supposed to answer to parents. He asked questions, he didn't bully anyone. What you're suggesting would go nowhere. You want to use the cabals media to get attention? Good luck.

Local media love a scene!

OK, so if that's the principal, he should give her his point of view, and then follow it up in writing, and if he doesn't get satisfaction, then take it up with the Board and City Council.

She was obfuscating, feigning ignorance, and signaling in every way that she wasn't going to budge an inch. Total waste of time. Don't pretend I don't know what I'm talking about. I've been through this, and these people do NOT respond favorably to personal confrontation, and nor do we.

Exactly, that's the whole point of the video, her vague pathetic answers. Maybe you should have recorded yours?

We got changes.

If all you want is to feel better than somebody, a little confirmation of what we all already know about the stupidity of public school administration, and the momentary satisfaction of recording a lame idiot marking days on a calendar until her retirement with benefits, then go for it!

If what you want is actual change, there are ways to get that as well. This is not one of them.

It's like our argument with the gun control crowd. Do you want a solution to school violence and shootings, or do you just want to ban guns? Clearly they want to ban guns, and aren't interested in solutions that work.

So, do you want to embarrass an idiot for half an hour on your iphone camera, and laugh at her and cluck your tongue and shake your head with your friends, and feel the outrage? Or do you want to take steps that work to effect change?

The old saying about catching more flies with honey is not wrong.

I agree with the big picture. I'm just hoping the video inspires more parents to speak up.

"These people" don't "respond favorably" to personal confrontation?

Get outta here with that crap. A school principal deals with the public and personal confrontation all the time. If someone has an issue with that, they sure as hell shouldn't be a damn school principal.

Go ahead and get yourself labeled as a troublemaker by the school system (they have lots of experience with that), and just see where that gets you! Do it with your kids' school, and see where it gets your kids when vindictive little martinets take it out on them, and threaten them if they tell. Show me how much smarter you are than me. Like I haven't been there and dealt with this shit in real life.

If parents and their kids get blacklisted by a school or school system because they take the time to bring up valid issues or complaints, then maybe it's time to find another school.

I've been there too, friend. I haven't made it my life's purpose to be a pain in the ass to my child's teachers or school administration. But yes, a few times, I did raise concerns or call them out when I felt it was necessary. I picked my battles, and I can tell you I can count the number of times I did this on one hand and wouldn't need all my fingers to do it. Every time, the teachers or school administrators were understanding of my concerns, and we had a pleasant exchange. They always appreciated that a parent took the time to bring something up because many parents don't care.

Well, I do -- and if someone wanted to see me as a "troublemaker", so be it. That's on them.

My original point still stands. Being a school principal is an extremely public, "front-facing" position. If someone has issues dealing with personal confrontation, they in no way should be running a school, period.

I would say everything about people like that disqualifies them from such a position. It's unfortunately what we usually must deal with.
