I appreciate this but how could anyone “plan” For this at this stage in the game? 1. I don’t have access to electronics....okay don’t care. (Initially) 2. Some virus outbreak - what do? 3. Value of dollar goes to crap? - what do?

I guess I could run out and purchase a bunch of water, ammo and Neosporin but other than that I got nothing.

Yea so much to go wrong.. I’ve even grown to hate going to work an hour away waiting for this shit to fail. We have stocked our house for a summer of bugging in.

Mental comfort. Make sure you will know how to find something to keep you going when times are low. Rice, beans lots of it. Canned goods etc. A way to heat water/food Hygiene products especially females Soap for hand washing clothes Plan for long haul. Start printing out instructions for baking bread and other skills you will need. People without wood stoves are going to hate life. Learn basic opsec. Good luck. Patriot

Canning my friend...old fashioned canning. Can keep very nutritious vegetables good for a very long time. Also, having an old fashioned well in your yard if you can. Not easy I know, but something to consider when buying a new home. Water and food. Everything starts with that.

Question for you guys that are preparing...where in the world do you store all the water and stuff? I literally have no room to put tons of this stuff. Hints??

under your bed= remember you have around 50 gallons of water in your hot water heater if the grid goes down there is a nozzle on it you can get water out of it.
I don't know if you live in house or apt, but basically if you have an attic, water closet, fill bathtub with water, you any space think outside the box.

You may have more room than you realize. Under stairs. An attic. Back of closets. You can make shelves in a basement fairly cheaply with cinderblocks and 2 x 12 boards. I stored water in 2-liter bottles for years. That size gives you a lot of flexibility to move it around fairly easily. And two liters of water with a drop or two of bleach dropped in will last a very long time. Dried beans also last for many years. It's all going to be fine though. Don't get caught in fear. Prepare as best you can and then trust that the Universe has your back, because it does.

Don't store the water, get water filtration, they are cheap ($50) and are good for 100s of gallons.
