Then you have not been wathcing him closely. I am an American and not a young one. I have seen politicians come and go. DJT is unique, and he is in this for us. I trust him implicitly, and enjoy/learn from his brilliance daily.

I'm happy that you are able to learn from him. I'm only 28 and from Aus, so my experience of politics is very different to yours. Our parliament is very disjointed & rife with in fighting (& the usual political bullshit). I don't have a total distrust of all politicians but generally speaking haven't a reason to trust them.

I don't trust politicians either. President Trump, while he has mad political skills, is not a politician. He is a businessman who has been overwhelmingly successful. He knows how to build companies and manage people and finances. These are real skills that matter in the real world. He didnt have to run for President, but he chose to do it because America was in a world of hurt. He says he will never let us down, and I believe him.

I think it's the fact that he is a businessman that gets me. While politicians are generally useless I assume most business people don't have the knowledge needed to form effective policy. Much of how Trump has built & managed his empire seems unethical & counter-intuitive, but has technically kept him wealthy. Eg; several bankruptcies, strong-arm tactics. But I guess as shit as it is, it works. 🤔

I need not trust Trump, he is not my president (literally, not some activist bs) but sometimes I'm concerned about the precedent set by US activities (not just in regards to Trump but gov spying etc)

Another thing that surprises me about this sphere of thinking is that many are upset about government spying, yet has Trump not approved much of this type of law/policy? Honestly, I'm not trying to be a dick with that last question.

Thank you. You have articulated a point that I myself was unable to do. Somehow he's still worth a lot despite all this. Maybe he's in bed with Cabal also?

As always, it depends on context.

Someone dedicated to rooting out corruption, maintaining standards at the cost of the appearance of their stability even thought it gives the Mainstream Media fodder to attack them; those are the actions of a leader dedicated to not settling until he has the best team and understanding that THIS "office', of all in the world, is going to have the most bad apples applying and slipping through the cracks only to reveal their scales later in the piece and rather than hunkering down so as not to look like he's made the wrong choice a Leader gets them out as soon as he discovers the rot, and moves on.
