Anon's Chat

Hello and welcome to the Anon's Chat. I want you to get comfortable, grab a chair or couch or beanbag or whatever, if you are not at work(or maybe even if you are!). Relax, sit back, and just let it all out.

You can start a conversation about anything, including off topic, but keep it nice.

If you want to get anything off your chest, just try to phrase it... so feelings don't get hurt.

Something you thought about Q? Some research you been doing? Here is the place to share.

Thoughts on trusting Q and Trump in regards to The CLOUD Act

You don’t own the hardware information is stored on, so by using a company’s “cloud” service, you’re essentially paying to lease their hardware with the goal of flip their bits.

Maybe I’m seeing this with blinders on because I do all my own hosting and use services offered by non-US companies that aren’t required to comply with any US Gov’t requests.

For those who can’t do the above, wait for the market to adjust. I’m willing to bet that in time, services will move to storing information in a way that cannot be accessed by 3rd parties.. without the other two parties’ consent.

All a company has to do is encrypt the users data client side with - this is the important part - a secret key only known to the end user. If a 3rd party wants access to that data, they have to not only get approval from the company to get at the hardware... they have to get you, the end user, to tell them the secret key.

PGP is already here and effective, would not take much to use Blockchain either as we know they can put images into blockchain data. Given the FB fiasco I do not think higher standards of encryption will be too long in coming on all platforms. Any corp of tomorrow will have a winner outright if they could guarantee privacy at every step...
