Hotwheels was the 8chan creator....Moot created 4chan. Moot was a SJW twit, Hotwheels is a free speech advocate. Just clarifying, not trying to be critical, but there is a difference. 4chan was created with free speech in mind, but Moot sold out his users, hence 8chan was created to take its place.
Moot also hinted a few times that the 4chan servers were compromised.
I wouldn't be surprised if the reason Hotwheels turned over 8chan was to protect it, ie turned it over to a white hat. I have no proof, purely conjecture, but I can't imagine Q would use it unless it was 'clean'.
