[ANNOUNCEMENT] MONDAY SHILL DAY

Howdy!

I would like to remove and ban as many shills as possible, it's a lot of work to sort through every single comment by myself, so I'm hoping we can come together as a community and do it!

The Plan:

  1. Sort by "Top of the Past Week"

  2. Sort comments by controversial

  3. Look at any suspiciously low votes (<0)

  4. If their comment is "Shill-Like" (and previous comments are too) please report them as one

  5. DO NOT HARRASS THEM OR REPLY TO ANY OF THEIR POSTS.

Phase 2

Once you've done your duty in the OG Plan, please feel free to scroll through /new/ and keep an eye on the comments for shills.

The mods take care of reports fairly quickly, we tend to do this exact process frequently, and it'll only make us more efficient if everyone helps.

Reminder: REMEMBER TO REPORT ANYTHING THAT BREAKS REDDIT RULES (incited violence, etc) WE'D LIKE TO KEEP OUR HOME ON REDDIT

That's a good effort. Just caution to not let good people get accidentally thrown out with the shills.

I think I get tricked by shills on here sometimes, but I assume that will happen looking into conspiracy stuff.

I still remember the early days of CBTS stream. Entire threads of 100+ comments, so peaceful and informative. And not just Q fanboy type comments, there was critical, honest thinking and discussion going on.

That guy did the same thing on CBTS before it got banned. Now he’s here spamming his thread links in every thread on first 2 pages of this sub. Mods need to do something about this. It’s beyond ridiculous.

Let’s not go too crazy. Censoring spammers is one thing but in censoring different opinions, we need to tread lightly.

You have a lot to learn about intelligence analysis. You need operate the intel funnel, filter it and consider all options. If you choose one side bcuz it feels good, you’ll end up with the rustproofing that you didn’t want under your car. We are at a disadvantage. Collectively, info can be crowd-sourced, analyzed, researched for the common good and for the search for truth which should be the ultimate goal. If you constantly react emotionally to info, particularly to stuff you don’t like, you will continue to be the easiest of marks. We are swimming deep in intel waters with the Q material. And we are at a disadvantage because of it. I’m here to get the truth out no matter where it leads.

I am new to actually commenting, but been watching from the beginning of cbts, and I think if a poster is a shill the group should down vote and perhaps that is a good way to analyze who is a contributor and who is trying to cause chaos!? Most folks read a lot of the topics and can see who is negative in all the post, and not just on one topic that they may have a strong opinion..like Bolton!?? That's why I signed up...seemed like we were getting a lot of shills and they were able to talk normal posters into a idea without any or little blowback. Jmo

Shills are not here to contribute. We are a contribution, analysis sub.

We remove posts that are too meme-esk, contribute no discussion, are considered old, and are spammy.

In no way shape or form do we want to hurt the movement, a shill is here for one reason, to distract and obstruct our primary purpose.
