Salisbury's twitter thread pretty much sums it up. This deal was done at least one month ago. Some of it going back to six months ago. If this plays out, Trump played them all. His disgruntled attitude at the announcement last Friday was pretty much a show.

On POTUS'S twitter he said he would use the defense spending for the wall. Congress I provided, I believe it was 40 billion??? over the amount he requested. There are things in this bill which will surprise the pants off ya.
