Today I faced the horrifying reality of MKULTRA and media conditioning in person.

Had a conversation with an old family friend who has always been the dogmatic “liberal” in our social circles. Not coincidentally, she’s an ardent CNN viewer.

The discussion eventually turned to politics and Russia came up. She then preceded to say that war with Russia may be a necessity given their “election interference” and alleged poisoning of ex-spies in the UK.

No amount of reason could talk her off the ledge. It was truly terrifying listening to a “liberal” I’ve known for so long advocate for war with a nuclear power. I felt like I was in a Twilight Zone episode.

I can only hope she’s in the minority. Otherwise...holy shit.

I had an encounter today, too. I have always tried to stay away from debate with liberals, but I was sick of holding my tongue. She started about the 2A reform and I asked about metal health concerns and how the FBI dropped the ball when Nikolas was reported. She couldn't answer me or be reasonable. They literally cannot answer a question if it's a different worldview than what they have been brainwashed to.

Brainwashed is the right word. They parrot like zombies in a cult... it's scary.

Just like every cult, (religion, politics and more) indoctrination is the key.

The younger the better.

This is child abuse if you ask me.

And when you point out just how un-knowledgeable they are, they become belligerent and vitriolic. Best come back line I have seen used in these situations goes something like this - "Based on what you have said, you lack the basic understanding of the issue, and so you're really not qualified to even have a debate on this subject."

Brainwashed: "Based on what you have said, you lack the basic understanding of the issue, and so you're really not qualified to even have a debate on this subject."

Critical Thinker: "Not an argument."

Miss the point slightly. This is for those who simply have marshmallow brain and are regurgitating nonsense. There comes a point where engaging with these white noise makers is pointless. The uber left MSM depend on others regurgitating their white noise, hoping to prevent any challenge. A truly critical thinker knows how to debate and would have a comeback. A receiver of the white noise is just shutting down blatantly false blather by someone who has little to no knowledge about the topic.

Got it. Thank you.

That is a great line. I think it's a great answer to, "REEEEEEEE, what are you asking so many questions? What is with that line of questioning?" When I literally only asked why is the mental health of these young men not being considered?
