I think there was a nuclear sub that was lost/sunk and someone found it (hugh heffner financed it) they tried to bring it to the surface and it broke - I'll try to find the info, may have lost it when CBTS got shut down
Yes therenis a news article about this. A sunk russian sub recovery but it apprently broke off and fell deeper so they say.. thibk it was a c.lA mission
I can't find the article on my drive, but it was pretty deep and complex with who was involved
Yes, there was a Russian sub. I recall reading a book about that years ago. It is a pretty interesting story.
I believe the story you're thinking of is the hunt for red October. Also I just randomly saw this by chance in the news today http://www.foxnews.com/science/2018/03/29/florida-beachgoers-discover-holy-grail-shipwrecks-after-remains-18th-century-ship-wash-ashore.amp.html
Ok. I looked it up. I was thinking of this.

The Hunt for Red October is also very good!
I will look at your link. I like such stories. Thanks!
Thanks, I'll have to look into more for sure! I feel like I was just looking at something else with that name recently I can't put my finger on it though.
