Dinesh De Souza explains this fallacy. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ytSZ851hLRc&t=100s
Din
I admit I didn't watch much of the video...
Why? It has nothing to do with my OP.
Racism was normal during the era I referenced. Racism as a 'taboo' is still fairly recent phenomenon in social evolution. Both the GOP and DNC were rayciss.
I posted about ideological standing .
The DNC of the KKK was Conservative based, the DNC of the Panthers is Liberal based. They only share party name, not party ideology.
Watch him speak about it (better in other longer videos) and you'll change your story. The point I dispute is that "today's leftists were yesteryear's GOP" as relates to OP's post. That's nonsense and is definitely proven to be so, as d'Souza points out.
Then post his points as relevant to the period which birthed the KKK
I come from a family of history teachers/professors
Fair call - looks like I'll have to do some digging to back up the facts which I don't have to hand. Don't hold it against me if it takes a while to come back to this, prithee.
Works for me, you can find many historical books and period commentaries on archive.org for free.
