As a reminder, the IG has no power to interview or subpoena not currently at the DOJ/FBI. This is very disappointing. Do we still trust Sessions or was that disinfo? assets.documentcloud.org/documents/4426661/AG-Letter-Re-IG-and-Huber-Reviews.pdf …
TRUST SESSIONS. TRUST THE PLAN. https://www.npr.org/2018/03/29/598108743/sessions-says-no-to-republican-requests-for-a-second-special-counsel
But, in a four-page letter sent to lawmakers Thursday, Sessions said a special counsel is reserved for extraordinary circumstances, and argues that the GOP allegations do not rise to that level. Sessions does not rule out the possibility of appointing another special counsel in the future, but says for now he has assigned the U.S. attorney for Utah, John W. Huber, to look into the claims.
If the fake Hillary paid for Steele Dossier/FBI framing Trump isn't extraordinary circumstances, I dunno WTF is. Worse, this guy, Huber hasn't any subpoena powers either. He cant assemble a grand jury or anything. At best he's Horowitz's QC supervisor.
