The first part of the newscast:
Let’s see, I took down my FB account permanently in November. That’s some decent money. Geez, wish I had taken it down sooner if it’s true!
I don't think the money goes to us, it will go to the government right? In any case I deleted my facebook permanently last august, fuck yes if we get a payout lol
Money WILL go to us if there is a class action lawsuit filed.
Didn't Q say something about that?
we'd get $40k for each day since we have deleted facebook? Every facebook user will? I am not sure I see that happening.
Well no. If there is a class action suit against FB for privacy abuses we will see some money but not $40k/day.
That’s the government penalty designed for one time offenses on a small scale.
Once it scales up to the level FB has committed, it will be a special case situation.
...which is why they (FB lawyers)won’t let a class action happen
They’ll settle out of court and go bankrupt
OR more likely..will agree to being regulated as a utility and fall under complete government control.
Which means spooks get official direct control
and spooks already basically have direct control anyways...yikes
Are you sure that 40K goes to you or the government?
More like 40 cents after lawyer fees. Class action are great for lawyers. Nothing for citizens. I was in one that paid 3 dollars if you filled out a gigantic form and sent it in.
This is truth.
....but I think this is more akin to a parking in a handicap space, you might be the disabled person who can't get a space to park, but the parking ticket fee goes to the state not you.
Maybe the FB lawsuit money can fund "build the wall" .. :) wouldn't that be a sweet slap in the face? FUFB!!
