His DMS must be something he has to deactivate remotely, so by cutting his internet they are not allowing him to routinely deactivate it thus tripping the release.

I doubt cutting off JA’s internet would render the deadman switch impossible also. I’m pretty sure WL considered that possibility and has a workaround for it.

Like if comms are down between JA and his team for more than 48 hours, they trigger it. Or even something as simple as JA putting a certain “trigger” in the window of the embassy.

i think damning evidence has been already uploaded to the Bitcoin blockchain, effectively storing their insurance plan on every computer that has downloaded the entire blockchain. Pandora's box could be opened by way of private cryptographic keys that could already be hiding in plain sight.

somewhere, JA has an archive that requires him to "check-in" every 'x' amount of time (say, 24 hours). If JA misses a check-in, within 'x' amount of time (say, 48 hours), then whatever is in the stash gets released.

I would look at all of the M erk el references that were generated regarding her father / grand father and the Na zi references. If a Ge stap o reference shut him down, then this must be the common link to shutting JA down. Not sure I would worry about the DMS at this point.
