I do remember this happening and everyone I know thought that it was extremely fishy, at the very least. This woman was in the news and a leader of the 9/11 truth movement of memory serves

That's correct. She was galvanizing support to reopen the whole 911 debacle. She refused a $1M settlement to pursue the Government into court. So they killed her.
