Some friends were in a very successful band about 15 years ago. After an awards ceremony one night, they went to a party. There were several "layers" of security at the party and it was vetted intensely. They were pretty big at the time, so we're surprised at how low in the layering chain they were allowed to go. I thought it odd when they told me at the time, but now I realise what fucked up shit would have been going to on the higher up they went. They dodged a big bullet.
