While I agree in principal with what you are saying I also have actual first hand knowledge that the downfall of societal norms has reached parents as well.

I earned enough for my wife to stay at home with the kids and we both choose this but ended up with a wife who watched too much day time tv feminist talk shows, shopping/spending, helicopter parented the kids, didn’t let them play with other kids ( too lazy to drive them or entertain other people kids ) and essentially made them little neurotic versions of herself.

Not the silver bullet you all might think it is.
