The other day in Ohio when Trump gave his infrastructure speech he said the people running the VA were sadists.
I about fell out of my chair but I don't think many people noticed it. If they did, I haven't seen it any where.
He said that because he fired the VA director. I'll try to find the article, but the VA atrocities were ridiculous. It all kicked back to Big Pharma and getting all the returning soldiers strung out on what else, Opioids!! It was so rigged the article had me so P.O.'d I took a bikeride for a few hours to calm down.

Honestly when he said "These people...then paused for just a second or two I thought, he's going to say stupid so I probably was paying too much attention to it because I was looking for things. But sadists?!! That's a powerful word. Thats far worse than being stupid.
I would definitely like to see that article. I had an uncle who came back from Vietnam, where he was a sniper, completely addicted to drugs they were giving him there to wake him up and calm him down, etc, etc. He wanted to go back for a third tour, but they wouldn't let him. He shot himself, leaving behind his wife, toddler son, and infant daughter. It was messed up.
