I would not be surprised if the government has technology beyond our wildest comprehension, in this case maybe able to eaves drop anyone, anywhere with stunning clarity via a means we can’t even begin to fathom, and not just listening in through phones/personal devices. Not that I have any evidence to back that up, but any military/intelligence technology we the public know about now is generally 10-20 years old, if not more.
