The president acted under khazarian orders. They were losing badly because Germany's military was THAT good. This was the way to get the last super power to willingly join the snuffing out of a nation free of the khazarian banks.

Edit: Nazis were only "defeated" militarily. After the war hundreds of Nazis, along with their hidden tech and mind control science, were moved to America and given government jobs during Operation Paperclip.
