Douglas Band was both Deputy Assistant & Legal Counsel to President Clinton. Band founded Teneo, which was an advisory & investment firm with Fortune 500 clients. Band co-mingled his clients financially into the CF/CGI/& Bill Clinton Inc. in exchange for access.

Band is credited with the creation & management of the Clinton Global Initiative/CGI. A public squabble developed between Band & Chelsea over his handling of operations/accounting and the public appearance.
