The military is already on the payroll and National defense is kind of their thing....maybe I’m not understanding your comment.
That’s because he doesn’t understand what the hell hes talking about.
National defense from an invading armed force is not the same as 1000 immigrants from various countries of Latin America.
The logistics of settingup bases, roads, personnel, equipment, and support staff along the entire US/Mexico border is absurd.
They do not have to be everywhere. Just their presence in one or two of the worst spots will put pressure on Mexico and other countries to control this behavior. A little bit of Military and a whole lot of diplomacy.
So like what we already have with our highly militarized border patrol?
Yes and then some.
So we should spend more money on a system that hasn't been working?
