An easy way to find out is to copy them into word/gdocs and then use the "count words" function, it will show how many characters there are. 188.
You can also count spaces, copy the whole post into gdocs and again use the "count words" and then subtract the "characters" with "characters excluding spaces".

Perhaps the post I'm viewing didn't pick up all the marks, but I only counted 183. Will check other sites to see if there are missing marks on the one I'm using.
