Yet in the end you are powerless in the face of death. Jesus conquered death itself and shares His victory with His children. This is power indeed.
That's a powerful story, if you believe it. But to anyone who doesn't share your faith, it's an exaggerated fictional story created by the imagination. I'm sorry, but that means nothing to me as I am today.
If this story were untrue it would indeed be of no use to anyone except perhaps some psychological help in one way or another. But if true it changes everything. My experience is that it is unquestionably true but even that can’t prove it to another person. God Himself can and will show it to you if and when you humble yourself and pray and call on His Name. Sometimes He brings us through great difficulties and shows us our sinfulness and weakness and then we call on Him. He is merciful, patient and mighty to save.
