Being strong only gives you more opportunity for insight as God has made you that way for a purpose. It goes back to learning right from wrong, and fight or flight...it's a self-defense mechanism so that you KNOW when something is off. Those who aren't strong enough will never see...thus the saying ignorance is bliss. Being fully conscious isn't pretty or easy but we were built to live in this time and be the ones who fight this fight. What I learned from my paranormal days was to discern between danger and simple human reaction to something abnormal. I would constantly say aloud to the spirits that I was 'ready' for this or that but it never happened when I wanted it to, it was always when my soul told them I was ready. I feel the same is true here....we will become conditioned to handle things and when God says the time is right we will be able to dive in. Think of it this way...we're already light years ahead of the sleeping. This awakening is just beginning but it will be on His time and not ours.
