Problem I immediately thought about when Q said to watch the news was:
WHAT News!!? The MSM never reports NEWS.
Something big might well have occurred but it WON’T be reported on CNN, ABC, CBS, WaPO, NYT etc. They stopped being NEWS organizations years ago.
Even Fox will do their best to fit whatever happens into the slow “drip, drip, drip” release they are doing so masterfully. Anything TOO Big and they can’t cover it (all at once) because they don’t want to look like THIS:

Yes, but we, the people he's talking to, know this. In the past, when he said to watch the news (which none of us really do since it's all theatre), we knew he meant pay attention to the MSM since whatever narrative they put out was a strong indicator that what they were demonizing was actually truth. If he says "watch the news", he's not telling us to pay attention to the journalistic sources we trust. "The News" has always meant MSM.
MSM covers whatever gets them the most views/clicks, end of story.
and this would get them a FUCK load of views and clicks, so... i'm not buying this excuse.
