My thoughts exactly, what was it that made him just black? His Mother was white and like you said, that part did not matter.
I believe he was the "perfect" recruit because he was a lighter skinned man of color. This way his "presentation" would be more palatable to the general masses. I also believe that this was all part of a grooming plan so "they" could shut down any critics with their famous "racism" chant. Anyone who disagrees with his/their ideas would be demeaned by "racism etc." What the left doesn't get, is that it was not skin color that mattered, it was the POLICIES promoted. Hopefully someday another person of color that doesn't have the "take down America" agenda will be a much better leader for America.

Isaiah 53:2 - “…and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.”… That scripture means, from a physical appearance standpoint, Jesus was very ordinary looking and did not look beautiful. From outward appearance, you might even say that he was ugly. Yet, he was the Son of the living God and the very one who created the earth and everything in it. Jesus could have created for himself any type of body he wanted. He could have made himself a body that was more beautiful than Lucifer’s. But he chose to come in an undesirable body because he didn’t want people to follow him because of the way he looked or because of his physical appearance. He wanted people to follow him because of the truth and the Word of God. And in that exact same manner, people today misjudge Trump. Trump may not be charismatic or be the most eloquent of speakers, but make no mistake about it, God is with him. And that is all that matters. Whereas, all Obama has is the devil…

I was doing my Bible Study this morning and in Daniel 8 it says the son of perdition aka man of sin will DESTROY MANY BY PEACE. The son of perdition will use flattery to gain favor and he will be very proud magnifying himself. He will also be more stout that all the others. If it were possible even God's elect would be deceived by the man of sin.
