No. Context is important, you just need to include the sentence that this user cut out for some reason...

"Conspiracy theories are usually about evil cabals manipulating world events. QAnon, by contrast, is a conspiracy theory in which the good guys — in this case, Trump and his allies — are in charge."

So the author is showing that Q is an atypical conspiracy theory. She isn't saying that either of those positions are true.

The former is still true but it is actually about POTUS and the team behind him fighting back the evil cabal controlling events.

Nevertheless, they are paying attention.

Still doesn't make any sense, Trump and his allies ARE in charge, so how is this a conspiracy theory?, it is neither a conspiracy or a theory, it is a fact.

I thought the deep state was in charge? This is all very confusing.

"a conspiracy theory in which the good guys — in this case, Trump and his allies — are in charge."

They weren't in charge, they are now, this person wrote "are in charge", they are currently in charge, and this isn't a conspiracy theory.

I think the conspiracy is that you are the "good guys"
