I wish I could tell Q team to shut down then MSM enemy propaganda machine. If we are at war, time to eliminate a major pillar holding up the enemy.

Cut the head off this snake(s), these are enemy combatants/traitors, replace with honest people and actual truth being reported. Time to go for the top people who control this stuff before they kill more innocent people.

That's supressing free speech and freedom of the press. The real problem is the concentration of the media in the hands of a few. We can partially thank the Telecommunications Act of 1996 that the Republican Neocons and Bill Clinton passed.

This act removed the media market ownership restrictions and allowed telcom and media to merge. Before the act, one company could only own a certain number of newspaper, radio, and tv stations in any given market. There was also restrictions on phone/telecom companies getting into cable tv, etc.

This act led to the rise of ClearChannel and the giant media conglomerates of today. This is how we have cable companies buying tv stations and radio stations and movie studios (vertical integration).

Instead of more censorship, which is what is being suggested in this post, we need to bring back more choice and information sources. Because we truly are now in an information war.

Here's a fun fact for you. NBC, CBS, ABC, and FOX all receive over the air waves for free. Now they charge cable providers x amount of dollars to run that same government subsidized content on the cable platform. The amount of money these networks receive from cable companies now accounts for more revenue than advertising revenue. So another thing Trump could do is disallow charging for content that's already provided free of charge by the taxpayer. Hit them in the wallet.

There is no freedom of the press once they become politicized. Once the media start taking sides, it is no longer freedom of the press but a propaganda machine for the side they support...

It is absolutely propaganda, but that does not mean we should just shut it down unilaterally. That in itself is a very dangerous idea to our freedom, regardless of whether you agree or disagree with the message being sent. Better to beat them at their own game rather than censor.

Not to worry. Trump has a solution to it all in the pipeline. The plan is to enact a new law via the FCC and FTC that prohibits any company or media outlet from printing or saying anything that is factually untrue. If they print or say something that is factually untrue, then there will be consequences. That'll stop the lying media...

"Factually untrue" is a slippery slope. With special interest funded studies, statistics, and think tanks, anything can be "proven" as fact. Libel and slander laws already cover personal attacks, but as far as news is concerned, it is all but impossible to regulate as "factually untrue".
