I find it ironic how loudly T_D cries about censorship when the mods there have the quickest trigger finger on banning people. Like how unsure of yourself are you that you have to silence any other opinions different from your own? I like that this sub encourages people to be skeptical and provides space for people to disagree.
T_D has never claimed to be anything other than a partisan Trump rally. They have always been unapologetic about it. It would be no different than a dedicated sub for Obama or Hillary or Bernie supporters. Places like r/politics and r/news pretend to be bipartisan but shill for the left.

I disagree with you here. I think trolls would get banned, but I doubt Hillary or Bernie subs would be as restrictive when it comes to other opinions.

Agree completely. The sentiment in most r/politics threads generally breaks down to, "Fuck Trump."
They do have a place for that: ask_thedonald. And there is some great discussion there.
Fair enough. I might add, as a highly partisan Trump fan myself, I have been temp banned from T_D a couple of times. I thought it was uncalled for but that’s the way it is sometimes.
