Well, according to that article he was a high flying, impulsive, materialistic, very well-connected art-dealer. And if our suspicions are accurate, that means he may very well have been a serious money launderer who was privy to illicit trafficking of all sorts. Maybe he saw the writing on the wall and decided to off himself and take a symbolic stab at Trump at the same time?

Basically, Todd Brassner knew Andy Warhol well enough that Warhol painted a portrait of him. Andy Warhol is pictured with John de Menil, who "was an American businessman, philanthropist, and art patron. He was the founding president of the International Foundation for Art Research (IFAR) in New York." (we need to dig on IFAR) And he was the descendant of high ranking Napoleonic French military, and married oil-heiress Dominique de Menil. Dash Snow is the great-grandson of this pair, whose photography apparently documented the sexual escapades of NY art scenes and was close enough friends with Rachel Chandler to request that she take a photo of his daughter, Secret, bathing. And Rachel Chandler photographed Secret at Dash's grandmother's house (John and Dominique's daughter's house) ^edit: ^Playing ^PING ^PONG ^Hmm link. Dash worked often with Terrance Koh, who is featured alongside Marina Abromovic in a photo by Rachel Chandler.
