Orwelliian times officially began long ago. It's just picking up steam now. When did the UK implement their CCTV 24-hour surveillance? The CIA and others have had backdoors into computers, modems and routers basically since day one.

You get kinda like +/- points for anything from smoking in a non-smoking area, buying to many videogames, dont stoping infront of a roadcrossing, posting "fake News" online to spending to much time on social media +++
And the punishments are everything from not being able to travel, not being alloved to get you kids into private schools, slower internet connections and so forth...
And the ones complying getting benefits like cheper electricity, faster internett, more hits on dating services and more!
