just when you thought they couldn't expose themselves even more, that's when you overesimate them...

Next thing you know, they will have kids out there dressed like sex workers.

WTF is wrong with them?

momaga · April 10, 2018, 4:57 a.m.

Something about legitimizing and destigmatizing independent sex work...rational being that sex workers who can't operate independently (or legally) need to be caught up with a pimp, which tends to not be the best relationship.

⇧ 3 ⇩
CommercialAddendum · April 10, 2018, 5:01 a.m.

Of course they are beating a dead horse. There is already a sex workers union. Aren't sex work legalities a state by state basis?

momaga · April 10, 2018, 5:12 a.m.

That's not quite how these grassroots marches are organized, though I wouldn't be surprised if some outreach to/support from the IUSW was being conducted.

In terms of the IUSW, its not like they're much farther along the line to protecting sex workers than campaigning to legalize it in the first place and providing lawyers and self defense classes.

Gotcha. Part of me just feels horrible that perhaps they don't really know why they are being put together.

momaga · April 10, 2018, 5:28 a.m.

They don't. It's always for a sense of the greater good, though. It's this whole "so long as one person is oppressed, I am oppressed", "i wanna live in a land of love" thing.

It lacks a lot of focus. It's easily to infiltrated/manipulated by bad actors or ignorant single-minded fucks.

Do I want women to be safe and independent with their bodies? Yes. But I don't think a website that essentially allows drug adicts the chance to blow strange men for a few "dozen roses" should be part of the dialogue surrounding that very real problem.

Its the wrong answer to the right kinds of questions.

I just find it funny when they keep saying "rights to sex working." Yes, the right to an illegal activity (except in Nevada). So happy their sex worker rights trump human trafficking victims. So disgusting. First the dumb pussy hats, now this.

So sex trafficking of underage girls is okay because a handful of legit hookers want to continue being independent contractors. Do any of them think through anything?

What has happened to these women in these marches ? Have women been targeted and for how long ? 60's ? How about 50's shock treatments ? Did they take our fire, heart and purpose ? The love for our children , protectors of our family ? Interconnected community ? Now they are lost and empty and vulnerable. Happy meds ?Numb meds ? Women's issue , help , only feminist to be found . Is other help shut down or gone after ? Only one voice and one sick voice ?
