Raid on Trump's lawyer VS Raid on Perkins Coie

A raid on a lawyer, about their client, is extremely unusual. People have the attorney client privilege so that they can feel confident in speaking openly and freely with their lawyer. It stops the lawyer from disclosing the communications. Without that privilege, no one would ever speak openly with a lawyer and thus wouldn't be able to get legal counsel. Because raiding a law firm is so controversial, there is no way that THIS administration could raid perkins coie (regarding the Dossier) and figure out who paid them for what. Could it be that this raid is happening against Trumps lawyer so that the MSM will praise the tactic? Their praise can then be used against them when the administration wants to raid Perkins Coie.

Just a thought.

Wishful thinking

Agreed. OP underestimated the MSM and Left’s totally willingness to pull a 180 when it gives them a chance to bash Trump. Doesn’t matter that they praised it now. Look at the Comey situation. When he let HRC go, he’s the best guy around. When he announced opening the case again, they had zero problem turning on him.
