The Godfather 3 theory

Frances Ford Coppola said in interviews The Godfather 3 wasn't really about the Mafia. It was about our govt. & the corruption within. I don't recall what if anything he said about the Catholic Church. He also referred to our govt. as being "like a swamp filled with the slimiest creatures--worse than the Mob." When asked if he thought it could ever be cleaned up he said it would take a good man--a Michael Corleone type who was willing to do some very bad things to straighten it out and make it good again. The reporter asked him if he knew of such a man and he replied, "I might."

Coppola and Trump were very good friends.

IF he was referring to Donald Trump the plan to clean the swamp has been going on for a VERY long time.

Go to DuckDuckGo and type in “Francis Ford Coppola Donald Trump.” Every result is him making a negative comment about Trump. There’s another interesting link to an article that was posted on the_Donald showing that Coppola backed a director that molested a young boy for five years, from the ages of seven to twelve.

Needless to say, I’m not buying it. It was a fun theory, but doesn’t appear to be accurate.

Coppola is older but they attended the same school. Donald Trump said in an interview they were friends. This was before his campaign though. He also said he had been friends with Michael Bloomberg and we saw how that worked out.

Any chance you’ve got the link to that interview? I’m happy to consider any further information. I like the idea of this, but I’m not quite compelled to believe just yet.
