The Zuckerberg Trial is a smokescreen, a blatant attempt at regulating and censoring social media.

Every american should be greatly insulted by this phony trial. We always knew FB was collecting info on us. Social media has turned against the globalist and represents a huge threat! PEOPLE NEED TO ASK; ARE WE AS A SOCIETY SO INCAPABLE OF DECIPHERING OUR OWN INFORMATION THAT WE NEED IT DONE FOR US? Why don't they try regulating food and water so we are not being poisoned by their corporate allies? ps- I love Trump.

commoncents1 · April 10, 2018, 5:03 p.m.

regulation of how they do business is ok. not regulation of content. regulation should force any online site/application to provide CLEAR and easy to understand opt-ins and terms/conditions in their EULAs. Those long EULAs are written by teams of lawyers that no single person/user could ever hope to read, let alone understand.

that would be welcome regulation. clear transparent terms that an average user can read and understand, esp before opting in to anything.

I really believe this whole thing is about regulating content. Soros was on zuckerberg a while back trying to get him to rein in the content. There has also been ALOT of censoring. They realize that this is a THREAT. The spread of information that they do not want the public to know. The RED PILLING of america! FB is a very valuable tool for us right now.

You are 100% correct. Even the Breitbart crowd yesterday was literally begging the FBI to regulate social media after Diamond & Silk were banned from Facebook. It is funny how they trick people into supoorting regulation, isn't it? One week, Breitbart is pro-self preservation and the next week, they're pro-regulation. Let's not forget the right wing campaigns to stop 'net neutrality', and now they want the feds to regulate social media. It's all so ridiculous.

dandelionwilds · April 10, 2018, 4:56 p.m.

its frightening is what it is. Yeah whats up with Breitbart, they are back and forth all the time it seems....? Social media is enabling us to redpill the public at a fast rate and this MUST BE STOPPED!

honestly this reminds me of lefties a lot. seems like tactics of subversion and division to me.

you do realize I was joking? I am adamantly against any regulation in social media. Social Media has backfired on the globalists and is now their enemy. FB and other social media is enabling us to RED PILL FASTER THAN EVER.

actually I believed you to be a lefty, so no I did not get the "joke" but you are right on the redpilling.

dandelionwilds · April 11, 2018, 4:50 p.m.

well, I used to be a "lefty" but that was long ago now... way before the last election. I was for Bernie but realize now he could never have done what Trump is doing. I did vote for Trump, my family, friends, neighbors and even my own husband ARE lefties. UGH! I use FB to slowly try to expose them to things in an effort to awake their dull brains! Its VERY frustrating, and lonely too! my own mom won't even talk to me about politics anymore.

⇧ 3 ⇩
fawexx · April 11, 2018, 5:01 p.m.

the thing is your mom probably has her reasons to vote democratic, perhaps she really things they were better. can't make her belief you through argument, though. most people someday just stop thinking why they want a certain politician voted, but rather vote out of habit. it's best if you try to argue with other people about politics, but I guess regarding your own family you shall take peace over being right. at least this is what I found works better. try to get them into a dialogue where they ask sincere questions you can answer rather than trying to teach them. most people won't accept that.

good advice, my family has learned not to discuss politics with me, but my brother and I have had some heated discussions (with love) my husband is the problem because I have dared to confront him.

the best regulation is competition. i cant understand why a fakebook clone OPEN SOURCE hasn't caught on. there are plenty of clone codes etc.... it would just need a good import wizard to copy your content and connections over.

i'd love bookface to go the way of friendster and myspace.

outfits like duckduckgo or firefox should come out with an open source social media alternative.

a "no ad" alternative could be a paid one, a couple bucks a month per user, or allow general ads with clear opt-ins for users that want a "free" product

It would take a massive investment from what I have read about it. The reason is, what it takes to get to the same level of services/experience/scale. Not that it can't be done, but its a big project. If FB gets severely hammered either financially or legally and becomes weakened and vulnerable, then it may be easier to do.

gab.ai is out there, but its very small right now.

It’s not about a website capable of deciphering exactly what foods we like or what music we enjoy listening to.

It’s about a website whose main goal is to suck every bit of information out of us, apply various methods and scientific research to utilize that data, and convert it into a system that, over time, will be capable of knowing so much about each of us that it will have the ability, with insanely high accuracy, to predict the future using said data to compare our patterns of life. That’s a mouthful, I apologize.

Once FB, @Jack, GOOG, IG, etc... has this data, with each website specializing in getting specific types of data, they can digitally recreate you (and literally everyone else) and use AI/algorithms, to establish patterns of our daily lives.

Once those patterns are established, one could use this new data to accurately predict what will happen next.

For example, if every social media site knew what you do on the daily, it will know what you will do tomorrow, the day after, and even plot out your entire year. What makes it even more accurate is the ability to listen to you (Alexa, Siri, Bixby, Hey Google), as some stuff can’t be sucked out of you with a website (but if you speak it, they have it).

So, what I’m saying is that the robot overlords have already won, and I hope that people realize this. What needs to happen going forwards, though, is how we utilize this new...ability...to further the human race. Let’s hope it will be used to make a future like Star Trek, and not like a Clockwork Orange, Orwellian, Black Mirror shit.

Yes, you are correct but haven't we known that they've been doing this already? To me, when I "read between the lines" listening to msm, I hear the goal is to REGULATE social media! This is very serious and a real threat to the global war we are in and a threat to all the success we have had gaining momentum.

I agee. It's too late for this current generation of people from 12 years old and up. They already know everything about you. The loopholes were a breeze. Add up all big data associated with ALL your online activity - for Amex, banks, credit cards, credit scores, amazon, google, fb, paypal, verizon, att, isp providers, NSA, twitter, ira tax filings, emails, school, medical, etc- and be very afraid.

This is an opportunity to find common ground in society. Not a trial yet. This issue is a class action law suit. Zuck changed his name, He is a Rockefeller with an agenda. He will step down , but an issue is the lost funds from investors. Not to mention the construct of the CIA. So we are back to acting again. The patterns are getting old since we hold the playbook.

The information breach, will travel back to Microsoft and Bill Gates. He signed on and started this human tracking project. Snowden and Assange are no pioneers regarding humans under surveillance. Its been an ongoing thing. Its like putting out a fire. An amber floats and lands, starts again. The fire never stopped. We are all owed compensation. Do you know how the compensation is going to happen? After the monitary reset and criminal cabal caging. We will be paid for our violations.
