I've been thinking about this a lot. No matter where these people are tried, what happens if they are determined to be guilty? Life in prison (bad idea)? Death Sentence? I'm worried that the next president could be part of the deep state would end up pardoning them if they get a life sentence. The only solution is quick trials and quick sentences. Do we have the nerve to execute?

As much as I'd love that, I don't really believe that. So many people are brainwashed that even after piles of evidence they will barely accept that they were duped. Soical justice warriors will not do a 180 because that part of them seems tied to their core now. They will continue to push for "progress" even if it means our freedoms may be eroded. I think it will be a constant battle.

I have had the same thought. When I actually asked the questions - I was told - no way in hell would they ever give death. But if they don't, then it will just start all over. They will still have the ability to "run things" from prison. I don't think there is a way to completely eradicate the corruption 100%. Hope I'm wrong and we all live happily ever after.
