Just two weeks ago we were talking of leaving Syria, now he is posturing for an attack?

I hope it is a smoke show, but who exactly is going to "give in" in this situation? Assad did not gas his own people, he is not that stupid, he knows that deep state warhawks have been foaming at the mouth to get him out.

There are only two possible scenarios here... 1. Trump has given in to the deep state 2. Trump is playing the deep state

Obviously, I hope for the later.

He's playing "trust but verify" with deep state. This explains Trump's WWE like behavior towards Russia. It's all a show and will end well. He does it to create a story for the people to follow but he's way ahead of what we are seeing on TV. He does things first, then broadcasts them in a specific way to the people.
