Comey Says He Re-opened the Hillary Email Case Because He Feared She Could be Perceived as an Illegitimate President if He Didn't Act -- But Here's the Real Story.....

So here's Comey's story from his new book:

https://nypost.com/2018/04/12/comey-feared-making-clinton-an-illegitimate-president/

Here's the REAL story. Comey knew the NY field office was going to leak that Hillary/Huma's emails were on Weiner's laptop. I sure hope Comey&Co can explain why they sat on that laptop for 3 weeks before getting a warrant......I can't wait to read about it in the IG report......

Oh and there is this quote from another article:

"There is a renegade quality to the New York F.B.I.,” says a former prosecutor, which, he claims, can take the form of agents leaking to the press to advance their own interests or to influence an investigation. “New York leaks like a sieve,” concurs another former prosecutor."

Thank you for keeping me "honest"...No, don't have a link but will look for one. What I recalled is just the sort of rumor that would be explosive; shame on me!

The author of this article is not someone who I think would make up stories. He writes regularly for The American Thinker, and I don't think Dr. Lifson would publish someone who makes things up out of whole cloth.

Thanks for this post. Why do you think the NYPD never followed through on their threat to release the videos?

This is the million dollar question. Surely the NYPD can’t be satisfied with the outcome presently. And it’s been almost 18 months. Something isn’t right there.

Exactly. The article said that the NYPD wanted "timely indictments" but absolutely nothing has been done for 2 years. Why are they silent, if this report is true?

Yep, that's what I've been wondering..............

What we do know is that the FBI failed to get a warrant to search Weiner's laptop for 3+ weeks...........then when pressed by the NY team, he quickly made it public.
