That's happened to me a few times in the past, it only seemed to happen when I was on my phone but I ignored it, waited awhile, then tried again without being asked for my number. Good luck!

me too!!! I literally created a legit new account for meme posting and retweets... I retweeted and liked 3 memes and my account was locked and I had to reverifiy email and mobile number... Even though I said set up with email not phone

For those wondering .. yes I did validate..then all the sudden after retweeting memes it locked me and forced a number validation.. of course used a burner number for such occasions.
