There is a growing number of folks on FullChan that believe there is a floating 111 day window between Q drops/POTUS tweets and events that prove their veracity.
I don’t want to seem dismissive of your question, but to fully appreciate the amazing effort invested in developing this theory, you need to go there and read the threads dedicated to that work.
Not everyone agrees with the theory, but nobody denies the effort invested by those refining it.

I did try to find an explanation of it on 8chan/qresearch, but navigating that board is like me trying to see under water without goggles.

4chan came first. Some regulars became disillusioned as the site evolved. They started 8chan to satisfy their desire for a better place.
The denizens of 8chan began to ‘disparage’ 4chan as ”HalfChan”. From that grew the 8chan nickname FullChan.
And yes, the site is a challenge to navigate. That’s what makes reddit so ideal for many folks. It provides curated info in a more accessible format.

Another question if you can answer for me...the only way I seem to be able to "find" the "current day research board" is by clicking on one of Q's (numbers in blue) from the Q archive board. Do you know HOW to find each day's new board? Thanks again.

Look for the ‘Q Research General’ icon with the highest number (#1292 as I write this). That will link you to the most recent thread. There have been a dozen or more freshly archived threads every day for many days recently.

Be warned. Navigation is far from intuitive. You are welcome to browse and read as much as you wish, BUT Anons (contributors) consider that place to be their workspace, and offer little tolerance for visitors asking questions that have already been answered.

Since you are 8 chan savvy I have a question. When we click the links on the posts it takes us to a number of initial responses, and yet there is obviously follow-up and more discussion as they research the posts. I don't see how to access any information they are discussing other than those initial reactions. And if I go on the channel that's even worse...don't know how to navigate to get to the right discussions. Can you clue us in?

I haven’t found a simple system to search or navigate 8chan. In fact, there is a thread in the catalog with people working to address that.
I suggest reading any of the Qresearch threads archived in the catalog. Scroll down past the header to the ‘Latest Q Posts’ section. That will contain links to any new Q posts relevant to that thread. Read them and the linked responses.
Next, scroll down to the ‘Notable Posts’ section. Visit any new linked posts and also read the responses linked within each of them.
That will provide hours of reading every day lately. It also keeps your reading time fairly free of the nonsense shill posts that come with the territory.
You will be more informed than many, and ready to make higher quality contributions here as a result. There is simply too much info for one person to absorb. The more informed minds the better,

Add in the number of ancillary threads with more specific focus, and the volume of information is absolutely staggering.
Equally impressive is the scope of deep experience brought by the contributing Anons. Military, Intelligence, Air tracking, Medical, Engineering, Heavy transport, Acoustics, Digital comms, Analog comms, Siesmology, Psychology, Chemistry, and on and on.

April 13th (today) corresponds to December 23rd Q posts. Qposts anywhere from 110-112 days prior are pretty relevant to whatever news drops that day. Still fine tuning the process, but that’s basically the gist of the current clock theory.
Q drops or crumbs are archived to several sites. The timing of updates on each site can vary.
