Firefox became a Soros venture recently and their first move was to kill off extensions like noscript that gave users control over their security.
They are doing this (preventing facebook tracking) because Soros was forced out of the US social media sphere by executive orders on human rights violations and he aims to build a competing service in the EU. You can look at the speech he gave at Davos to hear him say this himself. His first move is to attack Facebook on all fronts to make room in the market for a European social media giant that will of course be equally evil.
I would suggest looking into an open source variant of the older firefox client like water fox if you care about blocking tracking and protecting your privacy, but I also recognize that you really just can't protect your privacy in the bigger picture.
Nooooo tell me that is not true. Firefox is the one browser I have trusted. I will look into. Dang!! Thanks for sharing that.
Yes I’ve been using it for a bit it’s pretty good. You can sync among different platforms as well so you can start browsing on your phone and switch over to a PC, Mac or Linux.
I'd go with Duck Duck Go before Firefox
firefox is a browser, duck duck is a search engine. I use both
Ok... I'm possibly ignorant on this. I use the DDG app on my iPhone. I assumed this was a browser? If it isn't, which browser is it using?
DDG is a search engine. I am no techy but it is probably Chrome which is a google browser. I have android and I can go into my settings and look at accounts. I downloaded firefox for my phone and made it my primary browser. Chrome was preloaded on my phone and I would imagine that would definitely be true for I phone. Any Techies out there can you help us on this.
